A poem from my collection that speaks about spiritual maturity.
                            THE ONE WHO HOLDS THE FIRE

                              The earth will grow all that is led,
                              Beneath the surface seeds are fed.
                              It's depth of time is unforseen but felt,
                              By those who bring pure offerings.
                              We pray with hope of touching
                              The song you sing.
 
                              We see the passion that fires
                              The kindling hearth.
                              We feel your heart from the flames
                              Given so freely at birth.
                              Now's the time to find the sign,
                              Woven with desire,
                              Fueling the flames
