Memories of us as gently we touched....
Memories of us as gently we touched,
Holding your hand, I always marveled at what I had found.

Eyes so true, deep, and blue.
Their warmth confounds and surrounds.

Fate is often blind,
As such was our rendezvous back then.
A Nephew from whom we both once knew,
Brought us together for a lifelong encounter.

When first we met, I was all of seventeen.
Still in high school when you found my ring,
I found it an honor to say, I do, at just nineteen.
With a smile in your eye,
You always made me feel like a Queen.

If ever asked if miracles come true,
All I need to do,
Is look at pictures of you.

Memories of you,
My favorite thing to do.
