A mother sees pain in her son's anger.


"I hate you!" he screamed, as if the fury in his eyes wasn't enough. The words shocked her as if he had used a tazer to get his message across. He had been defiant before, but this was different.

Her brow softened. "I love you, Michael."

Rage suddenly subsided to tearful mourning.

"I miss Daddy."
