The prologue to the novel Eleana.
Prologue

“Once upon a time,
in a realm so far away.
A King and Queen ruled the land,
Happily in their way.
The kingdom they did love them so,
And they their kingdom well.
Until one day it’s said to be,
That their fate would be unrolled.
A prophet came up to the gate,
And spun her tragic tale.
When the twins would come to light,
Darkness would cover the glow.
One with hair as dark as night,
And one whose mane was fair.
The light would be the wicked,
And the dark would be the right.
It was set in stone henceforth,
That one in Lorenzia should remain,
And one cast to the realm of man.
When many moons had come to pass,
Their paths would cross again.
When they stood face to face,
Shadow should again blanket day.
Then shall begin their battle,
To decide their horrible fate.
Of which to die and which to reign,
The fates could not quite see.
The future the land would hold,
Has been left henceforth to thee.”
