"...Finding lost pets is truly a blessing...hands posting signs and calling around..."
Hands, palm up, say “How did that happen?”
Hands, palm down, mean, “short” or “Stay calm”
Often, they mold things, shape, or misshapen
Using four fingers, or simply the thumb.

Loving hands stroke a sweet, furry kitten;
Hold the leash, walking man’s best friend.
Licked and smelled, but my hand’s not bitten
Giving comfort and warmth ‘til the end.

Cats and dogs make superior partners,
We cuddle and hug our pets each day;
Greeting, barking, or hiding from strangers,
The work week’s done – it’s time to play!

Cats and dogs, often missing or lost –
Hands, palm up, saying “Where did she go?”
Frightened, the owners stay calm at all cost
Weary, yet hopeful, they search high and low.

Finding lost pets is truly a blessing,
Hands posting signs and calling around.
Love is regained, then scratching and sniffing,
Old friends’ purring and barking, now found.

Treasure your pets, with all of your love
Show them kindness, devotion, and care;
With loving hands, send prayers up above,
Be thankful – your babies are rare!
