I wrote this for an intro to a personal narrative in my Sr Lit Class but I liked it a lot.
Second by second the years have passed never to return again and even now as I write this, time still flows like a wave crashing over my shoulders in the ocean.  While all I'm able to do is stand here and wait unknowingly for the next one to come.  There are no things in this world that are solid, but still some things are found to be concrete.  While the cluttering of emotions and thoughts like a train carry me to a point where things last seemed permanent.
