This is a short poem about a traumatic near death experience in the form of drowning
Crystal blue,
Twenty feet tall,
Towering above like a solid brick wall.
Foaming white,
Crashing down,
Trapped beneath,
Can't utter a sound.
A safe feeling,
A firm grip,
Something pressed against my lip.
Cough-ing,
Chok-ing,
Wear-i-ly,
From my encounter with the sea.
