A love poem, what else is there to say.
A Love Poem

A care dance, planned steps
Concentric circles, like clock gears,
Mechanical, fixed, and turning
In time, in time to the all-mighty
Music Deity. In time.
Always in time.
The dancers dare not
Break the time, dare not
Change the dance.
But one becomes distracted.
His eye is caught by a curl
Of tumbling red hair
And the energy
Of brave green eyes.
He watches her dance
And her grace stalls his breath.
The dance is strong,
But she is stronger.
They push him,
He misses a step,
And then another.
All the dancers stare.
And he breaks time.
He takes her hand,
And they run.
