A little poem about a library!
The Library!
I step into unknown places,
Somewhere I've never been.
All I see is books and shelves,
That's all that can be seen.
A book on Harry Potter,
Something about a pig.
What is the place coming too,
To have a book on a wig?
Alone sits Mrs. bookshelf,
Eager to read a book.
I sit and read a poem,
A toddler tries to look.
I ask for a little card,
To borrow books as I please.
For in this little library,
I get the books but get no fees.
I visit everyday now,
It's like a second home.
Oh no, I just forgot,
The book about the gnome.
It's at home on the sofa,
I read it all last night!
The only thing I worry,
Is Mrs. bookshelf thinks it all right.
