Just as the title says
Simple Pleasures

A new puppy’s whine, a baby’s sweet giggle.
Mexican jumping beans - see how they wiggle?

Balsawood airplanes thrown at the sky,
Lay on your back, watch the clouds sail by.

The smell fresh cut grass, squishing mud through your toes.
Bright yellow dandelions, to rub on your nose.

A castle of sand, with a genuine moat.
Homemade ice-cream, for a big root beer float.

Bobbing for apples, a trip to the fair.
Waking up Christmas, knowing Santa’s been there!

A Valentine shoe box, Fireflies after dark.
Holding hands with your sweetheart, a walk in the park.

Rainy days in the house, tracing your hand.
Cards in your spokes, a lemonade stand.

I don’t want more money, don’t need a degree.
Life’s simple pleasures are plenty for me!
