Poem about being in the outdoors.
Wilderness Traveler

I live alone with only nature’s sounds.
Where one’s most private thoughts are found.

I drink from springs still unspoiled.
I stand upon yet untouched soil.

I breathe the air so clean and pure.
I watch as great white eagles soar.

Touching clouds from atop a mountain’s peak,
Standing silently, humbled by all the beauty that I see.

I walk on paths where only ancient ones have trod,
Marveled by the majesty of creation, I touch the face of God!
