A take on life!
Alone
Sitting, rowing, breathing
And on my way I make it to the finish line
On the way,
Bitter smiles
Evil grins
Looking to see what will do the trick,

Searching in the murky waters
So eerie
So cold
So bitter, yet tasteless
I look into the sun, and just catch a breath
The cold air,
Slapping me across the face
Just as she did before

No sounds,
Just me and them
Them
Watching everyone else
Same goal
To win
Losing, that won’t do the trick

Looking into the distance,
Crowds cheering for who?
Not me
I’m all alone in this
No one with me
Just alone

And what will do the trick
Not losing

Sun beating,
Them
Are moving ahead, as I sit to figure it all out

Nothing will do
Just move forward
That will do the Trick
Just move forward
In this race
All alone
