An old piece of poetry
People walk by, not thinking and very corporate, takes the meaning out of things
The rats running along the streets make for a amusing night, not what he looks
Drugs, Sex, Trust, Pain all comes as a cost, or benefit
Shields and logos don't make people or friendship, do rituals?
Take it outside, that's where it is

He witnessed so many things out there
The hunger, pain, despair, death
he gets knocked down without even knowing
where does it end, where does everything go?

Our dreams have traveled far
she doesn't look down now, for she still has it strong
Helping another pull the weight off his shoulders
not letting a seed die, for that would be to corporate
