Just another poem I wrote, I love this one :) Hope you enjoy!
In the meadow of life
There's a flower for all
But none are the same
And a great many fall
Some have not bloomed
And some do not seed
There are very few roses
And many deceive

They mingle together
All in this world
A great mass of color
All mixed and all swirled
Different with different
Same types with same
All must play dirty
In life's vicious game

They take from each other
Without giving back
Many fall victim
To ruthless attack
The ruin of buds
The hot, dry remains
A costly reminder
We all need the rain

But not all is lost
As the drops fall straight down
Fall has come calling
Sleep comes around
Awaken in spring time
To a sweet, bright new dawn
You see the fresh saplings
Small larks, spotted fawns

A flower beside you
Growls tall from the ground
You sway up beside it
New love has been found
Your stems intertwine
You stoop and you bend
The sweet, loved new seedlings
Fly high on the wind

You settle down slowly
With the setting red sun
To wait out the winter
Until next spring comes
New life has been given
The meadow lives on
All a great circle
A dance to love's song
