It is hard to find peace!
APOCALYPSE

Tonight, I have no shelter
To protect myself from the cold
And from the dread of the dark.
So I rest against the trunk of this tree.

Tonight, I have no light
To enlighten my darkened world,
So I will to go by the gleam
Of the twinkling stars.

Tonight I have no quilt
To keep myself warm and
Shield myself from the cold
So I accept to shiver away the night.

To night I have lost my home
That used to fill my heart
With the feeling of being blessed
So I accept to pass away the night
Beneath the immense open sky.

Tonight I have none of my close ones beside me
And no one left in whom to confide
So I try to bring myself to learn
To kill away life alone.

Tonight I have no four walls and roof
To save myself from the icy deluge
So I accept to freeze away
Without any refuge

Tonight I have nothing
Save the ravages of war
So I am compelled to heave this burden
Till the remote end

Tonight I have no messiah
To relieve me of my soul-deep wounds
So I accept to bear this endless pain.

Tonight God I pray to thee
To save the generation that is yet to come
From the horrors of war and make them free

Shower them with the rain of your mercy
And fill their world with the wealth of tranquility
