This story tells about the Easter candy and how to eat them.
Peeps are those little yellow chicks made of marshmallow fluff that appear in supermarkets before Easter. Even though we do not celebrate the holiday, we love to buy and eat them. In order to eat Peeps correctly, one must follow the proper ritual, which both my and my husband's families have followed independently of each other for years before we met: Poke an air hole in the unopened package of Peeps and hide the package away in a cool, dry place such as a pantry. When you next remember about them, they will be stale, crunchy, and perfect for eating.
