I am going to try to tie this into a story but wanted feedback
The Midnight Scourge

Midnight breaks,
As potions sour,
On the verge of this dark hour.

Gone are the days,
Of peaceful bliss,
Where once was love, now is bitterness.

And tempers flare,
When spells abound,
As hatred fills each heart.

And muscles flex,
As temples pound,
As the blood lust fills the air.

And tensions mount,
As swords clash,
As blood is spilled upon the ground.

The voice that spoke,
In the midnight hour,
Breaths poison through the land.

Now sparks the war,
Called the Midnight Scourge,
No help is to be found.
