I had a chance
For love at last
But at a glance
It flew right past

She wanted to be in my arms
It was my choice to make
Despite all my lucky charms
It was my mistake, not to partake

What a fool I was
To not take a chance
Now I lye awake and wonder
Whose sheets she and I may lay under
