A poem I wrote while surrounded by nature
Waiting for dusk to approach
My life never seems to encroach
The wilderness fills me from around
With these thoughts spread on the ground

The sunlight beams through trees
Peacefulness whispers in the breeze
I wish it were easy to find means like these
Which can bring weakness into my knees

With lonliness now my only friend
Can you find my passion without sin?
The rules I've always known to bend
I cannot, will not let the pain come in.

We walk this earth without a thought
Aimlessly wandering throughout a park
Focusing on money and what we've bought
It doesn't matter when our lives are dark.

My only creed while upon this earth
To live life fullest show through with mirth
And channel my pain into the dirt
And find someone to show my heart.
