Try to imagine being blind. Not seeing all the things you have seen.
Imagine with me
only if you will.
Only being able to hear
your coffee cup fill.

And imagine with me
if you would dare.
Only being able
to feel a square.

To hear the sound
of a beautiful white dove.
Never to see the eyes
of your one true love.

To have to memorize
and never be able to see
all the beautiful colors
that are on a tree.

How do you "feel" blue,
I can't imagine that.
To never "see"
bumpy or flat.

The saddest thing
I think by far.
Is never being able
to see a falling star.

Nor a rainbow
in the beautiful sky.
Only what is told
by you or I.

Some things we take for granted,
we will always have them, we believe...
But then if we never had them,
it would be a miracle to receive!

I will give this gift
only but once from me.
I will let a blind person
finally be able to see.

I hope they can see beauty
in the things I have so far.
And perhaps they'll see
a falling star?

I wish I could be there
to see them have fun.
I won't be able to share the joy,
Cause my life will be done.
