Ode to Solitude

Wrapped in the purple cloak of darkness, she dances.
Wisdom and peace are her audience
The glittering crown of silence circles her flowing locks.
Like a star she wheels-
As invisibly visible as a black hole.
Soft are her murmurs; barely heard are her rustles,
Creation is witness to her half heard chuckles.
Sweet solitude, Eternity’s beloved daughter!
You who art the Goddess of Anonymity
Hail to thee, O Elusive One!
Both a radiant maiden, and a cold marble idol.
