children, pain, crying, silence
Listen. Do you hear it? Shh. Just listen carefully.
If you open your ears you can hear the cries of kids worse off than you or me.
Look. Do you see it? Just look carefully.
If you open your eyes you can see the filth and poverty.
Ow! Do you feel it? Can you feel your body hurting?
After a while a kid goes numb from all the beating.
Scared. Wouldn't you be? Wouldn't you be afraid to come home?
All of the things we're scared of that to them are well known.
Think. Are you thinking? Do you think your life is bad?
You life is golden compared to the shit they've had.
Know. Now does it hurt just knowing?
Just knowing of the kids worse off than you or me.
Cry. Are you crying for them?
Cuz this is just an ounce of what they go through.
Of their troubles, these are very few.
