Exploring infinity
The slow swirling cosmos and all the grains of sand,
From the depths of the mind to the end of the sky,
The boundaries of imagination and the most distant land,
The length of this moment and the look in your eyes.

My logic is mystified pondering magnitude without limit,
A finite creature struggling to grasp the eternal dance,
Certainly my thoughts run tirelessly to the phantom summit,
Only to begin below, anew, at the foundation of my ignorance.

What is an unending love that Chronos will surely sacrifice,
But forever spent in this eternal moment of graciousness,
A mind's eye focused beyond this instant will never suffice,
Our love sanctified by our knowing gaze of perfect timelessness.
