Soon the July skys
will fight for solitude.

The stars will move
over in its darkness

To honor the night
no more

Perch upon the granite
their eyes peeled to the skys

Distance echos of a
drum and trumpet

A red white blue flag
quickly dots across the sky

In the shadows of the night
silhoutte of people
