The story of a woman who wished for her husband to come home safely from the war.
Just the other night,
I wished upon a star.
For such a pretty light,
It sure was pretty far.

As I closed my eyes,
Wishing just for you,
They opened in surprise
For, my wish came true.

The knock upon the door
Told me you've come back.
You survived the war
With a suitcase to unpack.

I leapt into your arms.
The tears streamed down my face.
You were taken by surprise,
But held me in your embrace.

My wish has come true.
Forever, I'll love you!
