Dreams that came and went.
FLUTTERING DREAMS

As a child I used to dream
Of chocolate mountains
And lots of ice-cream, candies,
But none of that remains.

Those dreams did flutter away
When I was in high school.
Being a librarian
Appeared to me so cool.

I loved being surrounded
By books on all my sides.
It was a joy more profound
Than a thousand joy rides.

But those dreams fluttered away
When I had my children.
More important to me were
My home, hearth and cauldren.

Now all of my dreams are gone,
I have none left over.
I dream only that the Lord
May on me grace shower.
