This is a poem about finding away to say it even when you have nothing to say.
I want to write but when I write
The words they have to rhyme
Because it’s like the rhythm of my heart
That I place into each line
But I can’t seem to rhyme
The words no longer flow
My heart can’t find its beat
So I’m feeling pretty low
I use to be dramatic
My words use to be sincere
My heart once was in it
And the picture I could see clears
Now the picture is all cloudy
As I it’s about to rain
Like my heart is broken in two
And all I can feel is pain
Which I would write if I could
But no longer does it rhyme
I guess because I need a whole heart
Instead of half into each line
So I think I’ll just bottle it up
All the pain, cloudy pictures, and the tears
Place them away for another day
When my words are once again sincere.
