A poem written in the dead of night, when I was home, alone, and felt my own lonlieness...
I find myself, once more
Alone.
Darkness wraps around me,
Like a familiar blanket.
The sounds of an empty house sing,
My constant background music...

Once, I had everything...
Love,
Joy,
Him...
But now I am
Alone.

I have finally come to understand,
This is what it is,
To lose
Everything...
This crushing darkness
Threatens to comsume me.

But what's this?
A Light...
Almost like a fire-fly...
Headed straight for me...
Is it death?

No...
It's hope...
