verse one i'd like to say thanks a ton to the hip-hop vets that did their job and got it done/ Africa Bambaata was the first rap group to appear on TV that means a lot to me/ ay Doug.E don't you know that you are legendary makin beats with your mouth like a piece of machinery/ if you didn't know you do now this genre is phenominal and it makes you like a pain up in your abdominals/ I first heard rap and jumped into it like geronimo I got it but don't do it if you ain't really got it though/ I used to never show my talent til I rapped to my friends and they witnessed I was a challenge/ I have a lot of people to thank for how I do got people thinking "man I should've never doubted dude"/ It's a party over here with rappers from the last generation give them love and show them all appreciation
