A Wise Lesson

King Solomon had a thousand wives;
a thousand wives had he.
He gave them each a credit card.
Come on! How wise can that be?
They all went shopping the very next day
and cleaned out the stores in the malls.
There were clothes and shoes all over
the rooms—and even out in the halls!
The moral of this sorrowful tale
is to marry no more than one wife,
lest you spend all your money
paying credit card bills
the rest of your miserable life!
