A poem written as alternative lyrics for the medieval ballad called Scarborough fair.
Can you see the woman I've grown,
love can fade like roses in time.
Do you want to spend your life all alone,
or be the true and one love of mine.

Let me dream my story awhile,
love will fade like roses in time.
But you lead my steps through every mile,
only you can be the true love of mine.

Can you tell the purpose of love,
she can fade like roses in time,
Just you and me remain, all above,
as you're the true and one love of mine.

May I ask you a question of life,
“Will love fade like roses in time?“
If I ever wish for days as your wife,
does it mean you are the true love of mine?

Now that you see as I've grown.
Love which fades like roses in time.
Do you want to spend your life all alone,
or believe that you're the true love of mine.
