When constant thought keeps you awake at night.
The night's deceit,
you lie for it.
Open minded.
Lay now, ticking.

Over. Over.
It's never over.

Here now - resting,
floodlight blinding.
Strain and peek,
here it comes.

Engulfing. Ballooning.
Overwhelming.

Fatigued and weak.
It starts all over.

Can't switch off.
