A poem about the coloyr Yellow. Simple, yet I hope everyone who reads it will like it.
What is yellow?
Daffodils are yellow, trumpeting
Cheerfully in the spring sunshine
It signifies happiness and joy
Yellow is energy, like the sun
Burning bright and exciting
The colour of lemons in a fruit bowl.
Sand is yellow, a beach in summer
Hot underfoot and so so soft.
Buttercups in a field, swaying in the breeze,
A pale dawn breaking, in winter, with gentle ease
A tiger’s eyes amongst the fronds of a jungle.
Yellow is the colour of light and fireflies in the night.
