Haiku about a field of flowers. 1st Place Weekly Haiku 10-19-08.
My field is bordered by Irises.


Sh-h-h! The flowers sleep
On Bachelor Button stalks.
Soon they'll cover all.

But now the tulips
With their purple-hued petals
Mark boundaries well.
