If Joe, who makes more than $250k per year, is middle class, I'm impoverished.
Joe Plumber’s Maid

Do you think you’ve got a maid?
Don’t believe your masquerade.
If you think you’ve got it made,
you’ll be left out in the shade.

Check it out, and you will see.
One’s for you, and one’s for me.

I don’t know how we got here,
savings lost in all the fear.
Never thought that I would hear,
of me laughing at the mirror.

Check it out, and you will see.
Just who had the spending spree?

I don’t want a new band-aid,
Medicare and Medicaid?
Never thought we'd hear them say,
Keep things where they are today.

Check it out and you will see,
Aiding the insurance company.

Do you think you ought to know
what I think, and where I go?
Never thought that I’d say no,
when you warned that we won’t grow.

Check it out and you will see,
growing gone, in the name of “free.”
