My 'inciteful' look on the 'what ifs' of life.
Had I have known then what I know now,
I would have lived a non-beneficial life, to this point.
I would not have met the people from my past,
in need of learning a valuable lesson.
I would have walked on by
without a second thought,
for I have changed countless times;
each making me who I am today.
The realization of it all, is completely surreal,
to think, that if you made one choice differently,
you wouldn’t be the same.
And ultimately, in the end,
the people you would’ve met along the way
wouldn’t be the same either,
for you would’ve learned your lessons,
but they wouldn’t have.
Everything in life takes time,
but if you don’t give it how much it needs,
you won’t end up where you’re meant to be,
but don’t worry.
Everything has a way
of working itself out in the end.
