I wrote some haikus for a class presentation on gang activity in wealthy suburbs.
Gangsters drive fly whips
No respect for rolling in
Honda Odysseys

You are not ghetto
If you live near a golf course
Sorry, but it’s true

Watch your blue bandana
It’s in your back right pocket
That’s not the crip side

No more golden rule
The hood has a law system:
Snitches get stitches

They rest one-eye-up
You buy all of your pillows
At Linens and Things

This one is dirty:
You use hoes to plant flowers
They deflower hoes
