Trapped

I woke with a sudden chill,
Urgent,
Afraid,
Bitten by cold,
Mauled by mud,
I lie here,
In agony,
Trapped,
Bewildered,
With no one to see,
Darkness,
Concealing,
Petrifying,
Consumed by it,
Wanting to break free,
Horror's of the deep,
Lurking,
Wanting to consume,
For I am their prey.
