A brief glimpse of family dynamics and mental illness
June's Here

Who knows if Daddy will barely have the knife in the holiday turkey, when all of a sudden a grown woman won't be crouched under grandma's dining room table singing “Itsy Bitsy Spider.”  Growing up I resented us being twins, for obvious reasons, me and June. You just never knew what would happen whenever she was around.  Like now, one pew in our family section at Aunt Fay’s funeral keeps rockin' ‘cause little Ms. Phrenic (Schizo) sits down row snickering hard. Mama just shot raised eyebrows my way, with that infamous head jerk, which means go see about your sister.
