Struggling to emerge from a bout of depression
Awakening

In the midst of the darkening gloom,
I long for the cold, biting wind of a snowy day,
the snowfalkes bringing life to my weary face.
My coat turns feathery white
as I drink in the chilly air and, for a moment, feel alive.
