I changed this because I added a pic to the original... sue me!
KURT DONALD COBAIN
February 20, 1967 to April 5, 1994

It has been almost 15 years.
15 years,
and I still shed tears.

I remember the pain and sadness
of your death
when I hear 'Polly,'
my favorite song.

You passed through our life
like a shadow,
trailing music and anguish,
to the bitter explosive end.

You left us with only your voice
on scratched and worn CD's.

Your haunted eyes
peer from the television,
DVD's, and old VHS tapes.
A tattered poster of you
still hangs on my basement wall.

As long as we keep loving you
you will never truly die.

Thank you Kurt,
for you have given us
your life and love.

You allow us to live
even when we are
in our deepest despair.

I remember you now,
as I disc shuffle to 'Polly,'
my favorite song.

15 years
worth of tears.
