this is a simple poem about having faith and faith in others.
If We Could

HELP I don't understand why I have to have such luck,
But if I were to wish for better
I most likely get slapped by fate.
So with that said, I will just have to breathe deep.
Perhaps that will put my mind at ease.
I never was one for good luck charms or
Thought much of black cats and ladders.
I wonder if long ago I broke a mirror.
I suppose I should give some thought to that,
But with all that must be done I really lack the time.
I will just have to; I really must, with great importunes give it to God.
I'll hold to my faith that he will handle it zealously.
So my dear friend, should you find yourself with free time would you,
I mean could you say a word or two to god on my behalf?
With all my heart, I thank you. Please don't ever hesitate to
Ask of me a helping hand, with haste I will run to you.
