This poem encapsulates my feelings about my love-hate relationship with food.
I was hungry, so I ate.
I was full, but I ate a second serving.
I was ashamed, so I ate dessert.
I was bored, and I ate a snack.

I was jealous, so I ate my boyfriend.
I was wrong, so I ate my words.
I was embarrassed, so I ate my dignity.
I was humble, so I ate my pride.

I was lonely, so I ate the world.
I was ugly, so I ate myself.

I turned myself into a pudding,
but nobody wants to eat me.
