Inspired by the birth of a child...
FRAGILE AND SMALL

A child is born, fragile and small.
We relish, lull
in sweet delight ~
oh tranquil sight.

As wonder falls on us all,
we then extol
this warming light,
face so bright!

Though baby oft’ will squall,
we heed the call;
our lives alight ~
then kiss good-night.
