Why do we spend our lives fearing death?
Too Late

Death
Weaves her restless web
Of destruction around me

She draws ever closer
Ever stronger
Leaves me no escape
By the time I face her;
Its too late.

Shes wrapped around me
(Chokes life out of me)
I struggle to escape
But its too late

She lurks, she lurks
(behind every door)
She waits.
One wrong step
And she awakes
Leaves me no escape

Shes everywhere
But you can pretend shes not there,
And live,
Love life to the fullest
Or you can hide
You can waste away, not dead
But never alive.

You have to know it’s a façade
We all die in the end anyway
If you live like you’re alive
Then your soul can never die
