early morning fog?
The greater part of my day
seems to revolve around a fantasy,
much like a mist
that will dissolve as soon
as the sun gains strength.

I see you beside me,
a happy smile
to warm and lighten my day.

A few watery rays
break through
as the morning light
sneaking under the shade
slowly marches across the floor.

I could lay here forever.
Let's keep the curtains drawn
and door locked.

Invasive sun and heat
slowly burns off
last night's dream fog.
Your image
slowly resolves
as a reluctant waking
from a blissful dream.

I miss you,
can it really have been
a year?

I wonder if I am
the mist over your field too.

The greater part of my day
seems to revolve around a fantasy,
much like the mist
of tears on my cheek
that never seam to dissolve
even as the sun gains strength.
