The wind still cries, though I hear her not.
The wind steadily cries,
tears rain slashed skies.
Soaked, I shiver, eyes blink.
I still miss you I think.

If the wind had sails
and tears were the sea,
I’d cry so that I could see
you come sailing back to me.

Clouds slowly break apart,
sun rays shoot like a dart.
Dismissed tears with a wink,
I still miss you I think.

If clouds were horses
and tears held the reins,
I’d cry so that I could see
you come riding back to me.

Sunset skies are painted bright.
I watch the slowly darkening night.
My smile is sad at evening's brink.
I still miss you I think.

If sunset ended things
and tears were angel wings,
I’d cry so that I wouldn’t see
you not coming back to me.

If the wind had sails,
if clouds were horses,
if sunset really did end all things,
I would start again with you I think.
