SWEET VALENTINE KISSES
*Heart**Heart**Heart*
Once upon a time there was a girl who waited
for sweet Valentine kisses from those she dated.
The years passed by and she turned a bit older,
the men in her life seemed to be getting bolder.

The kisses were still sweet and she could enjoy
the kisses from a nice man instead of a mere boy.
One day in Spring she accepted his plea to wed,
tied the knot and knew she had nothing to dread.

The years passed on and things just were not right,
there were no more sweet kisses in the dark of night.
Valentine's Day went by with not a kiss on her lips,
so she went on a diet to reduce the size of her hips.

That didn't help, he had somehow lost interest in her
and the days passed by and remembered as a blur.
Then another woman finally appeared on the scene,
it was the worst of nightmares that she could dream.

Now she has grown much older and lives quite alone,
content to have peace and quiet once again at home.
She thanks God for Hersheys and all that they create,
those sweet Valentine Kisses are better than a mate!

She unwraps the kisses and she savors the taste,
to let them sit in a candy dish would be a waste.
She'll have no more tangles and never shed a tear,
Valentine's Day will be back with kisses next year!
