A look at the world today.
I stand at the prison gates,
Crying as loud as I can,
“Put the chains back on”,

Cancel Christmas,
Burn the Bill of Rights,
Shoot the Jury,
Who needs Freedom, look I’m in a hurry,
Just put the chains back on,

Slavery won’t be so bad,
This whole Justice thing was just a fad,
Lock me up so I don’t have to fear,
Keep me in the mud so I don’t have to care,
Please, just put the chains back on,

Turn all this Love into Hate,
All this Prosperity just seems to complicate,
Put me in a hole with my TV,
Give me more distractions to kill my dreams,
Kill all the animals, and burn down these worthless trees
Rule over me and support my favorite disease,
Build the walls higher so I can’t see,
Just tighten these chains and humiliate me,

Burn my books, and kill my friends,
I don’t need them anyway; look I got all the latest trends,
Haven’t you heard, God is a lie,
Now the state controls when I die,
They smile as they push the needle in,
They’ll tell me to thank them for absolving my Sin,
I just don’t know how to live without my chains,

So beat me harder if I try to run,
Make the walls thick so I can’t feel the sun,
And make the weights heavy so I can’t fly,
Keep telling me that I should never, ever try.
