The darkness of betrayal
Dome of Heaven

On the northern road to Delaware,
I want to turn at Charlottesville
to find where she has gone,
but she would call that pining,
as if she knew, among her ruse
and trysts and dalliance,
the torments when a heart
has dimmed the dome of heaven.
